The first time we met it must have been in a dream
Long before we were conceived it seems
One consciousnesses relating to the other
Hearts belonging to one another
Through space and time until the time of our birth
Searching for what we vaguely remembered not from this earth
Always having a sense of someone missing
Two halves of one whole drawn together, not resisting.
living, growing,walking every day
Until happenstance brought us the same way
With eyes fixed and breath in Relieved gasps
No introductions were needed, we're back together at last.
We pick up where we started back on that other plane.
Thankful for our reunion , knowing love just the same
Again we start, yet none of its new,
There has always been the two of us...
